DSP without AMC is a CPM story. AMC is how you see whether it touched an order.
Best fit: brands already in Amazon DSP (or heavy Sponsored + DSP) who cannot answer overlap or new-to-brand
Amazon Marketing Cloud is a clean room: you query aggregated, privacy-thresholded events across Ads signals. It is how DSP, Streaming TV, and Sponsored stop being separate religions. It is not a replacement for the ads console, and it is not Amazon Attribution’s 14-day tag.
The useful first queries are boring: how much DSP reach already sits in Sponsored Products, new-to-brand on the DSP flight, and whether a path that started on Streaming TV reached a detail page. Custom audiences come after those answers — then we activate them in DSP or Sponsored, not in a slide.
AMC is listed as no-cost for eligible advertisers (UI and API). Access still has to exist. I will not sell a six-month “analytics transformation.” I will run the queries that change this week’s flight or say we do not have the instance yet.
Advertisers with DSP or Sponsored access who need event-level, privacy-safe queries — overlap, NTB, path-to-purchase, custom audiences — in the weekly plan.
A first $500 test of Sponsored Products. AMC is measurement for a funnel that already spends. Also not a data-science retainer that never changes a bid.
Instance exists, or we stop and get it. No shadow SQL.
Overlap, NTB, pathing on the flights that are actually spending.
Cut duplicate reach, keep the path that reaches DPV, or kill the flight.
One custom audience if it has a home in DSP or Sponsored. Otherwise none.
Access check (DSP and/or Sponsored AMC). If there is no instance, the finding is “get access,” not a fake dashboard. If there is, I run overlap and NTB on the live flights so week one has a number.
A short query list: DSP ∩ Sponsored overlap, NTB on the DSP flight, pathing on heroes, one audience refresh if we are activating. Insights go in the same log as the DSP flight — or they do not matter.
Named seats, not a logo wall. Each page says the job, the rail, and what still has to happen in Seller Central or the Ads Console.
Sponsored ads, DSP, and AMC in one execution layer — AI actions for bids, harvest, and pacing, with the operator still owning strategy and kill rules.
Enterprise Amazon intelligence plus ad automation: Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Ads in one layer — used when a catalog is too large for a spreadsheet harvest.
A second long-context pass on large Amazon exports and competing drafts — used when one model should not be the only reader of a 40,000-row file.
No. Attribution is a tagged 14-day view of off-Amazon URLs. AMC is a clean room across Amazon Ads events. They answer different questions. Most brands need Attribution first, AMC when DSP is live.
DSP advertisers are the usual path. Sponsored Ads also has self-service AMC access for eligible accounts. If you have neither, we do not pretend.
No. A short recurring query list that changes the flight. A science project with no bid change is not this desk.
DSP can run without AMC — that is the problem. Measurement that actually names overlap and NTB is this workstream, or it is named inside full desk when we are already in the instance.
You do not need to hire it to find out if it belongs on the account. Send the public store link. I tell you whether this lever is leaking, whether I am the person to run it, and what week one would be.

If I cannot show the leaks, I decline. You are not added to a roster. A “no” is a complete answer, not a follow-up sequence.
Harvest, defense, listing pass, or “not yet.” Named in writing — not a 40-slide deck and a 12-month PDF.
Capacity is limited because I work the accounts myself. The review is how we decide if this workstream belongs on yours.
