Brand Analytics

Rank without share is a vanity screenshot.

Best fit: Brand Registry catalogs stuck arguing about “rank” instead of query share

SQP Hero ASINs read at query level every week
Split Impress vs click vs buy — so the fix is named
Feed The table becomes bids or listing copy, not a slide

Search Query Performance is the report full-service SEO shops wave around in “phase four.” I use it every week: impression share vs click share vs purchase share, by query, for the ASINs that pay the rent.

If you impress and nobody clicks, that is a main-image and title problem. If you click and nobody buys, that is bullets, A+, price, or reviews. If you never impress, that is rank and ads. One table. Three different jobs.

Market basket and search-terms reports stay in the same thread so harvest is not only your own auto campaign. I will not drown you in Brand Analytics exports. You get the queries that change work this week.

Who this is for

Brand Registry sellers who want query-level share, impression, click, and purchase data feeding the weekly plan — not a 40-page Brand Analytics export.

Who it is not for

Catalogs without Brand Analytics access. Also not a Market Research agency that never touches bids.

How the work actually runs

01

Pull SQP

Hero ASINs, money queries, last complete week. No 90-day dump on day one.

02

Split the leak

Impress-no-click vs click-no-buy vs no-impress. Each leak has a different owner.

03

Assign work

PPC, listing, or image. Named in the log. Not “monitor.”

04

Re-read

Same queries next week. Share either moved or we say why it did not.

What is in the workstream

  • Search Query Performance on hero ASINs
  • Impression / click / purchase share split
  • Queries you show for but do not win
  • Market-basket notes where they change targeting
  • Weekly query list that feeds PPC and listing
  • Share-of-voice watch on money keywords
  • Brand Analytics readout in the change log
  • Same-week action, not a quarterly PDF

Week one

I pull SQP for the money ASINs, mark queries where you impress but do not click, and queries where you click but do not purchase. That split tells us whether the leak is ads, the main image, or the listing.

Every week after

SQP on hero ASINs: impression share, click share, purchase share, and the queries where you show up but do not win. Those queries become listing or bid work the same week.

FAQ

Do I need Brand Registry for this?

Brand Analytics and Search Query Performance are Brand Registry reports. Without them we still harvest search-term reports from ads — we just cannot see Amazon-wide query share.

Is this the same as Keyword Intelligence?

Keyword Intelligence is your ads search-term report. SQP is Amazon’s view of the query: impressions, clicks, carts, purchases — including organic. They feed each other. They are not the same file.

Will you send the raw Brand Analytics export?

You can have it. The product is the short list of queries that change work this week, not a 10,000-row spreadsheet.

How often do you pull SQP?

Weekly on heroes. Amazon’s report is weekly/monthly/quarterly by design — I do not pretend there is a live API ticker.

This workstream on the free review

You do not need to hire it to find out if it belongs on the account. Send the public store link. I tell you whether this lever is leaking, whether I am the person to run it, and what week one would be.

01

The leaks I can see from the public listing

Title, bullets, A+, reviews, brand defense, and obvious ad-real-estate problems. Storefront URL only — no Seller Central login until we agree to work.

02

Whether this desk is a fit

If I cannot show the leaks, I decline. You are not added to a roster. A “no” is a complete answer, not a follow-up sequence.

03

What week one would be

Harvest, defense, listing pass, or “not yet.” Named in writing — not a 40-slide deck and a 12-month PDF.
