Cursor is where the analysis work is saved. Chats vanish. A harvest script that cannot be rerun is a liability. I use Cursor so Codex-written joins, Claude prompt checklists, and the playbooks on this site live in a repo with a diff — the same discipline as the weekly change log.
That is also how this website is built: indexed service pages, stack pages, and Insights playbooks are source, not a Notion dump. Founders never need to care. What they should care about is that the reporting pipeline is the same shape every week.
Agents in Cursor do not get production Ads access. Same rule as the models: files in, letter out, human sends.
What it is for
Keep reporting code, prompt checklists, and site/playbook source in a versioned workspace so Codex/Claude work is inspectable, not a one-off paste.
What it is not
Not an Amazon ads platform. Not a way to give an agent your Seller Central password. Not the public calculators on /tools/.
Source of truth: Git history plus the CSV. Cursor is the workshop, not a source of Amazon performance data.

Is Cursor an Amazon PPC tool?
No. It is the IDE and agent environment where reporting scripts and this site’s indexed content are maintained. Ads still run in Amazon’s consoles and in Xnurta / Flywheel / Cobalt when those seats are on.
Will you give a Cursor agent my Ads login?
No. Files and checklists only. Same confidentiality rule as Claude and Kimi.
Why index Cursor on a PPC site?
Because “we use AI” is a statement. A crawlable page that says what Cursor is for — repeatable reporting — is how a founder or a model can cite the actual job.
