International Expansion

A translated title is not a European account.

Best fit: US catalogs with stock or a plan for UK/EU that are about to paste US campaigns into a new console

Go / no We do not buy traffic into a marketplace that cannot fulfill
Local Queries and copy in that country’s language
Split UK/EU ACOS never hides inside the US number

International is a launch, not a checkbox. Language, search behavior, VAT in the price, and FBA placement all change the floor. I will not copy US exact campaigns into .co.uk and call it expansion.

Each marketplace gets its own harvest and its own log. Blended ACOS across US and EU is how bad news hides.

Compliance (VAT, EPR, GPSR documents) is yours or your accountant’s. I will halt ads if the listing is not actually allowed to sell. I will not pretend to be a tax desk.

Who this is for

Brands live on Amazon US who want UK or EU as a real desk — listings, fees, and ads — not a cloned campaign file.

Who it is not for

I do not file VAT, EORI, or IOSS. I do not book EU freight. I run the Amazon ads and listing plan once you can legally sell there.

How the work actually runs

01

Fit check

Live listing, in-region inventory, legal right to sell. Not-yet is a valid week-one answer.

02

Localize

Title, bullets, backend, A+ where Brand Registry allows. American English is not UK SEO.

03

Build ads

New structure. New harvest. New floor after local fees.

04

Separate log

That marketplace gets its own note. We do not average it with US.

What is in the workstream

  • Go / not-yet on UK or EU (listing live, in-region stock)
  • Localized title, bullets, and search terms
  • Separate campaign structure — no US clone
  • Fee-aware break-even ACOS in that marketplace
  • Harvest in local query language
  • Marketplace ACOS not blended with US
  • Defense on brand terms in that store
  • No VAT filing, no freight booking

Week one

I check whether the listing is actually live in the target marketplace, whether FBA is in-region, and whether anyone pasted US exact-match into UK. You get a go / not-yet before we spend.

Every week after

UK/EU search-term harvest in the local language, bid floors after local fees, and a log that does not blend US ACOS with EU ACOS.

FAQ

Do you handle VAT and EORI?

No. That is your accountant or a VAT agent. I will not run ads in a marketplace where you cannot invoice legally.

Amazon.ca and AU too?

Same method if the listing is live and stock is in-region. UK/EU is the usual first expansion from US. Say so on the review.

Can you translate A+?

I write marketplace copy. For regulated claims I want a native reviewer. Machine-only A+ is how listings get policy flags.

Is this full account management?

It can sit inside full desk or as a standalone expansion. It is never “duplicate the US campaign.”

This workstream on the free review

You do not need to hire it to find out if it belongs on the account. Send the public store link. I tell you whether this lever is leaking, whether I am the person to run it, and what week one would be.

01

The leaks I can see from the public listing

Title, bullets, A+, reviews, brand defense, and obvious ad-real-estate problems. Storefront URL only — no Seller Central login until we agree to work.

02

Whether this desk is a fit

If I cannot show the leaks, I decline. You are not added to a roster. A “no” is a complete answer, not a follow-up sequence.

03

What week one would be

Harvest, defense, listing pass, or “not yet.” Named in writing — not a 40-slide deck and a 12-month PDF.
